One of the best places to dine with a nice view! Been awhile since we ate here so we decided to return to celebrate our anniversary. Food was pretty decent and cocktails were tasty as well. The comp garlic butter bread smelled amazing , but wish they toasted it a bit. The clam chowder was really good and they were not cheap on the clams like most places. As for the main course I ordered the salmon & my husband ordered the cioppino. Both entrees were delish. As for dessert we decided to go with the fried banana split & it was ok. The batter was a little too thick. They also comp us the Brûlée for our anny and it was a bit too sweet for us. Our server was decent but was not as attentive. Didn't really ask us if we needed anything else aside from taking our orders & bringing our food & drinks. Overall great experience and loved watching the sun set while we were eating.

Our server Tracy was lovely to us the other day when dining in. She recommended the Lobster and Shrimp roll which we tried and it was delicious! The clam chowder is better than most places I've tried. The carrot cake and in house ice cream(we got the peanut butter flavor) is a must try! The carrot cake was super moist with a crunchy exterior and the ice cream was a nice balance with it. Views beyond the restaurant are also nice to look at! Will definitely come back again!

Most excellent location. The food was delicious. Had the Kung pao calamari and the poke salad. Good service and very open and plenty of room to move around.

We go to skates occasionally sometimes for appetizers and sometimes for dinner we have even gone on New Year's Eve. On this most recent occasion, we went for dinner to celebrate as a family, and on our way there we went online and made a reservation. We were seated quickly with a beautiful view of the Golden Gate Bridge and Mount Tam! The service was excellent. I had a glass of red wine or rather a Cabernet. My wife had a drink that she will enjoy as did my daughter and the food was also delicious. We enjoy the fillet the grilled seafood trio as well as the salmon with asparagus and the shrimp appetizer

Came for my aunt's birthday dinner which was approximately a party of 20-25. We sat at two separate tables which wasn't a problem for our family. Our waiter was a young Black guy who seemed to be handling three parties over 15 with the assistance of two other employees who brought out food and handled issues with the food preparation. I had checked out the menu online to see what they offered since I do not eat seafood but items listed on the online menu were not found at the restaurant. Like the burger, so I opted to have my old faithful...filet mignon. My cousin and I ordered our steaks to be prepared well done but when they came out they were medium. The waiter took our food back to the kitchen and returned with well done steaks within 5-10 minutes. The steak comes with four to five long wedged potatoes and asparagus. The portion was fair as I ate all of my food and was not too full or left hungry. I didn't even ask for steak sauce....can you believe it?! There was an issue with our check but it was handled immediately. When it was time to sing happy birthday to my aunt both parties joined in and we did the same as another party sung happy birthday to their person. It was a great time! Everyone enjoyed their food and there was no discrepancies regarding anyone paying enough for their orders (the bill could not be split but multiple cards could be used). Anytime we get together especially over good food it's a great time with family. Happy birthday Grandmama!

The food was amazing! To include the oysters and seafood we had ordered and drinks were the icing on the cake. Our server was definitely attentive and provided a great break down of their menu and recommendations, all which we had chose and not one disappointed us. The ambience is beautiful providing a nice, elegant setting with a view of the ocean, city and mountains. To top it off we signed up for their premier membership.

My friend chose the restaurant for brunch. It's one of her favourite places as she really enjoys the view and she has some fond memories of sailing which she shared with me that day. My standard order for brunch has always been eggs benedict. It's my one treat that I don't care to make at home because of all the steps and components - and I like to cook! But I like coming here now and again and treat myself for brunch. Besides, you cannot beat this place for the view. Our server's name was Tara, a lovely young lady who was very attentive, friendly and efficient. We sat at the bar side of the dining area one row back from the window. My dining companion preferred sitting back one instead of right against the glass. She started off with glass of wine and I had a Dragon Fizz mocktail (DD friendly). My eggs benedict was delicious and well prepared. The yolk was perfectly runny but I would have liked a little more Hollandaise sauce on it. My companion's lemon blueberry ricotta pancakes was huge and amazing looking. It was a tall and fluffy stack of five cakes. It was nice catching up with her. As the dining area started filling up it did get a bit loud to where normal levels of conversation was not possible. I think 90 year old folks prefer it a little quieter, lol. Overall, it was very pleasant looking out at the bay as we ate and talked, watching the boats sailing in and out of the Marina. My friend was very happy eating here and that's what matters.

This is a really nice restaurant in the Oakland/San Francisco area. This location sits on the water with amazing views of the bay as well as the Golden Gate Bridge. To start we had raw oysters, calamari, and the seafood tower. I would say all were a little above average. My wife had the salmon blta, and a side salad. My sister had the tuna salad and I had the crab legs with mash potatoes. Others at the table had the burger, fish & chips and some other dishes. We had a party of 16 so it appeared everyone ordered something different and we knew kinda shared. I would say this place has a great view and the atmosphere was also above average. The virgin cocktails were very delicious, on our end we ordered three different kinds and they were all delicious. A few others ordered cocktails with alcohol and they said that they were really delicious and made just right But the food was just about average and the cost was about average for an upscale restaurant. The only other thing was our service was below average. I waited on my food a lot longer than the other people at our table and I had to ask twice about it. My wife ordered a coffee with vanilla syrup and her coffee arrived without it. She also had to ask twice about it and when she asked the third time she was informed that they were out of the syrup. My drink was never refilled until I asked for one.
